Renate Müller

The work of Renate Müller occupies a uniquely singular presence in the R collection. Since the early 1960s, Müller has been designing and hand making a series of jute and leather toys, primarily animals, in same tradition taught by toy makers in Germany since the 1800s. Producing a menagerie with an incredible range of scale and personality, Müller brings a timeless energy and life to this venerated craft.
